Maverick is going after the over $80 billion that is spent on prepaid debit cards in the US, with network branded prepaid cards at $22 billion and growing at over 40% annually. Mavericks target market of B2B corporate funded prepaid cards is forecasted by MasterCard to grow to $54 billion by 2010. STREAMLINE INDUSTRIES Streamline Industries: "Emerging Leaders in Performance Coatings" is a start-up company that will manufacture high quality coatings for the automotive, refinish, electronic, plastics and appliance markets.
Streamline Industries (SI) recently signed the first patent agreement under the state of Delaware's first "Intellectual Property Business Creation Program." With this agreement, SI took ownership of two patents dealing with automotive coatings and finishes. The major strengths of Streamlines products are their improved resistance to weather, their resistance to chemicals, and providing a uniform surface when compared to adjacent parts on a car. One of the patents is deemed environmentally friendly. Streamline plans to manufacture its products in the northern part of Delaware.
ABACALAB
ABACALAB Abacalab provides mobile computing tools for scientists, enhancing their capabilities to work with scientific and technical information and ideas in the laboratory setting where they are generated, thus increasing their efficiency and productivity as well as the long-term value of their work. The company mission is to create computing technology for knowledge workers in environments requiring mobility, thus our long-term goal is to provide tools for other areas meeting this description, for example mineral resource prospecting and extracting or science and medicine in the field.
Abacalab has developed mobile user interface technology for the scientific research laboratory and has released its first product, the Chemistry LabacusĀ®, targeted at chemists in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries. Sales have commenced and proceeded to the market-seeding level including sales at large pharmaceutical and chemical companies as well as sales at several academic institutions.
