Communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and around the country have in recent years begun to focus attention on the need to create better environments for the creation and growth of emerging technology companies.

The Emerging Technology Center has the benefit of a private sector advisory board to form the framework and conceptual design of this virtual incubator. The ETC Advisory Board includes the following individuals:

All of these original members have continued to serve in an advisory capacity to the Emerging Technology Center. Several members are also actively involved in the privately led entrepreneurial organization, First State Innovation.

Global Resource Information Directory (GRID)

The GRID is part of the Emerging Technology Center (ETC). It is an exclusive component of the ETC for selected entrepreneurs and innovators to be able to interact with subject matter experts on a myriad of entrepreneurial and emerging, technology based small business issues. http://delawareetc.net/
